Love the classics, can’t get enough of them! If you’re in the New York City area this weekend and have a craving for a good ol’ fashioned summertime car show, take a drive up Interstate 95 to Guilford, Conn., for the 35th annual Time Machines gathering. This long-running show held at the end of July combines the small-town charm of not-so-rural New England with some great classic cars and trucks.
In previous years we’ve seen everything from a Rambler Marlin to a Volkswagen Thing at the Time Machines event, but it was arguably the selection of 1960s and 1970s American cars and trucks that impressed us. Last time we were there not only did we see a Chevrolet 6500 truck we wanted to take home, but we also saw some great 1970s coupes and sedans that we hadn’t seen in ages.
